Is the baseline diagnostic test the same as a practice exam?
No. The baseline is a diagnostic tool, not a scored mock exam. Its purpose is to map your current knowledge so MENTIS can calibrate your roadmap. Your score is not displayed as a pass/fail — it feeds the AI analysis engine.
What are the 14 psychometric traits measured?
The assessment measures: analytical_reasoning, self_study_readiness, stress_tolerance, mentor_support_need, time_management_risk, abstract_thinking, detail_orientation, competitive_drive, collaborative_learning, verbal_reasoning, numerical_aptitude, creativity_index, persistence_score, and growth_mindset. Each trait contributes to your learning profile and mentor match algorithm.
Will MENTIS tell me if I was wrong about my own weak areas?
Yes — and this is one of the most valuable features. If you self-reported Chemistry as your weak subject but your baseline shows strong Chemistry and weak Biology, MENTIS will flag the discrepancy and explain why the data overrides the self-report. You can see both side by side.
How long does the full onboarding take?
Session 1 (self-report + 30-question baseline) takes 25–35 minutes. Session 2 (10-question psychometric assessment) takes 8–12 minutes. Total onboarding is under 50 minutes — and the personalisation it unlocks saves weeks of misdirected study.
Can I skip the psychometric assessment and use a random mentor?
You can browse mentors directly, but the psychometric assessment enables smart matching. Students who complete the psychometric assessment report significantly higher satisfaction with their matched mentors because the match is based on learning compatibility, not just exam subject.
Does QUIZZERA update my roadmap as I improve?
Yes. Your topic_mastery data updates after every MCQ session and practice exam. MENTIS recalibrates your roadmap weekly based on your actual improvement rate — subjects you mastered get deprioritised, and newly-detected gaps get escalated.
